Is there an app to manage a family trust?

Yes. TrustHelm is a web app for families who already have a trust. Upload the agreement and it becomes a record you keep current.

What it does now

TrustHelm keeps a record of the trust.

These are the things TrustHelm does today. Nothing here is on a roadmap.

  • A record built from your trust agreement

Upload the agreement once. TrustHelm finds the people, assets, and duties in it, and you check the results before you use them.

  • One list of what the trust holds

The Funding Tracker shows which assets are in the trust and what still needs doing. You update the record when property or family details change.

  • The trust papers in one place

Keep the trust, deeds, forms, and statements together, and download them when you need them.

  • Sharing you control

Share the record with family and trustees. You choose what each person can see or change, and you can change it later.

  • The work the law asks of you

Read what your state requires of you and where each item comes from. Your attorney advises you about what applies to you.

  • A record of what happened

TrustHelm saves your actions in a timeline, and you can download the record to share or review it.

Straight answers

What TrustHelm does not do.

TrustHelm organizes and tracks the trust. It does not take the place of your attorney.

  • TrustHelm does not give legal advice. Your attorney advises you about your trust.
  • TrustHelm does not retitle an asset, move money, or change who has authority over the trust. Your attorney and the title company do that.
  • TrustHelm does not replace your signed trust agreement. It reads the document you give it.
